Well known for his unique pieces, Brazilian jewellery designer, Fernando Jorge inspired by the natural beauty of his hometown, opts to welcome spring with a collection featuring the ephemeral nature of the botanical world. “Bloom” collection explores the moment when its beauty and exuberance are revealed. A series of six one-of-a-kind fine jewellery pieces where the designer in order to bring into life, sourced a variety of rare gemstones from remote parts of the world and arranged them in tonal nuances.
Morpho, Bromelia, Orchidea and Arara are the “ambassadors” of his current collection which is praising Brazilian nature while focusing on the simplicity of stems and sprouts. The collection is comprised of bracelets, earrings and rings in 18k white, yellow, and rose gold, set with luscious coloured stones including amazonite, amethyst, chalcedony, emerald, ruby, rubellite, imperial topaz, tanzanite, and tourmaline, finished with white and brown diamond detailing.
The one-off ‘Bloom’ pieces represent the highest level of jewellery making achieved to date by the new-world jeweller. The designer produced all pieces in Sao Paolo, combining digital technology with traditional hand cutting and finishing techniques. By extension, the designer’s unique vision for fine jewellery is clearly depicted in his current ‘Bloom’ collection where he choose to utilise developed methods and skills so as to present an entire collection which stands out for its perfection.
